Membership

It is possible to pause your membership for one or multiple months
With a membership money will be deducted from your bank automatically each month
You can always change your membership to more or less classes per week by sending an email to info@generationkiz.com minimum one month in advance
It is possible to cancel your subscription at any moment. Cancellation has to be done latest one week before the new month by email to info@generationkiz.com.

Practitioners

The goal of the practitioners class is to make the step to social dancing. We will focus on finding our own style, musicality and expression. You will learn to adapt to your partner and to get creative with all the skills we already have from the beginners and improvers classes. Also we will focus on becoming versatile dancers and at least have a basic understanding of the different styles danced in the Urban Kiz dance scene.

Intermediate

The goal of the intermediate class is to continue to grow as social dancers, to develop your own style and to add to your vocabulary on the dance floor.

Focus will be on the introduction of more advanced principles and on using them at different places in the dance.

Improvers

The goal of the improvers class is to use our fundamentals and learn new concepts from Urban Kiz. Were in the beginners the full focus is on the fundamentals, in the improvers class we use these fundamentals to grow our vocabulary. In these classes we will make sure to put these new concepts in different orders and to be able to lead/follow all of them in slow motion, acceleration and with stops.

Inter/Advanced

The goal of the inter/advanced classes is to learn to follow and lead the more advanced combinations and to play with these combinations. You will learn to recognize the different parts and to change their order or direction.

Beginners

The goal of the beginners class is to introduce and understand the basic principles of Urban Kiz. You will learn to dance using these principles and to actively follow and lead.

The beginner classes are drop in (registration required), and every week is accessible to complete beginners. Every class in the beginners classes is different and therefor also after some time you will still improve every week.

Every week in the beginners course is different and every week is accessible for complete beginners.

Advanced

The goal of the advanced classes is to creatively use everything you know. We will work on further developing your own style. We will be doing so by challenging you into creative dancing, avoiding repetitions, slowing down the dance and waiting for the music, etc… Finally, you will learn to critically look at your dancing and that of others in order to improve yourselves and help each other grow.

In these classes we will focus on your personal goals and work together on a plan to reach them.
